Dear all, this is my 20th weekly column in StarBiz.
First the glove sector, then the EMS sector. Migrant labour issue has become a major headache for businesses, investors and even our Government. Yet, it is not a simple issue plaguing only Malaysia or our manufacturing sector. There is also the role of Activist with agendas of their own.
With ESG awareness growing and the increasing social compliance cost, there is no doubt migrant labour complexities is one we should pay attention to. Feel free to have a read.
