Thank you Editor Kuek Ser Kwang Zhe & The Edge Malaysia for the cover story feature in Wealth. I will avoid the cliches which mask as a self-validation.

But I want to say, the reality of past hardship and being overlooked as I tried to make something out of myself will never go away. It has been an extremely long and difficult journey getting here. And even at this point in my life, success is still very faraway.

All these would not be remotely possible but for the people who has helped me, sacrificed for me and gave me a lift along the way. Today I have a great team of people who also made huge career sacrifices, took big risk to join me to build up this asset / fund management business. There are also clients who placed great trust in us to give me the head start I need. Without them there may be Tradeview, but definitely not Tradeview Capital.

Those who have helped me, you know who you are and you know I will never forget kind deeds. While this is only the beginning, I will continue to persevere as I always have done so, even through the most trying of times. I do not aim to built great wealth but aspire to build an enduring venture that will stand the test of time.

To those who are overlooked and face great odds building your own business, do not relent to status quo or give up your dreams. Try your best to remain optimistic and hopeful, it will get you through the darkest days.
